The Bottom Line

Evan Davis cuts through confusion, statistics and spin to give you a clearer view of the business world through discussion with people running leading and emerging companies.
With uncertainty hitting markets around the world, companies are faced with a difficult choice – consider lowering prices or risk having customers reject your goods and services.

This week on the programme, Evan Davis asks his panel how they decide how much to charge, and finds out how the global economic crisis is affecting their price strategies.

But it’s not all gloomy news, as we’ll also take a more cheerful tack and find out how the guests are planning for the upturn.

We don’t know when or how it will come – but the economy will start to pick up again at some point in the future.

What do businesses do to prepare for that day?
